Swim Lesson Aides will assist qualified Swim Instructors in the pool as they teach children basic water safety skills. Swim Lesson Aides are required to commit to a minimum of two consecutive weeks, either an a.m. or p.m. session and attend every day of the session. Swim lessons take place Monday-Thursday, 8:30-11:00a.m. and 6:00- 7:30p.m. Acceptance into the program, as well as specific dates and times of placement will be based upon informal interviews of prospective applicants. Applications are available at the Parks & Recreation Department. Applicants must be comfortable in the water and enjoy working with children. This is a great opportunity for youth to acquire work experience by assisting camp staff in the supervision, set-up and clean-up of activities, and sharing in the fun and excitement of the camp program. CIT’s are required to commit to a minimum of two consecutive weeks and to attend every day of the session. Come fill out an application for an interview. Control the robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds.
