Swim Lesson Aides will assist qualified Swim Instructors in the pool as they teach children basic water safety skills. Swim Lesson Aides are required to commit to a minimum of two consecutive weeks, either an a.m. or p.m. session and attend every day of the session. Swim lessons take place Monday-Thursday, 8:30-11:00a.m. and 6:00- 7:30p.m. Acceptance into the program, as well as specific dates and times of placement will be based upon informal interviews of prospective applicants. Applications are available at the Parks & Recreation Department. Applicants must be comfortable in the water and enjoy working with children. This is a great opportunity for youth to acquire work experience by assisting camp staff in the supervision, set-up and clean-up of activities, and sharing in the fun and excitement of the camp program. CIT’s are required to commit to a minimum of two consecutive weeks and to attend every day of the session. Come fill out an application for an interview.
