Yoga helps to strengthen your body and increase your vitality. Experience greater flexibility and balance. Wear loose-fitting clothes and bring a yoga mat and blanket. Yoga 14.1036 Gentle to semi-athletic poses enhancing flexibility and strength. Wear comfortable clothing and bring yoga mat or towel. Optional: yoga strap, yoga block, bolster/pillow to sit on or yoga blanket. Yoga for Complete Beginners 14.1043 Yoga for Complete Beginners. The hardest part simply can be to begin. This total beginners class will help you feel comfortable on the mat and give you an idea of what the physical practice of yoga is all about. Class will be conducted at a leisurely pace. The class hour is divided into floor work and standing work. Bring a yoga mat, pillow and water. Yoga in the Afternoon 14.1010 Yoga can be as much or as little as you want it to be. For some, it may be physical, keeping the body toned, strong and flexible. For others, it may be more of a mindset and a way of living. Whatever your reason, you will benefit from this beginner yoga class. We will be practicing gentle to more athletic poses and you will gain flexibility and strength in your everyday living. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow or any other items which you may already have; we will be discussing other options in class. Bring a water bottle. Yoga Made Easy 14.1037 Gentle, non-athletic poses. Suitable for beginners. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring yoga mat or towel. Optional: bring a yoga strap, yoga block, firm pillow to sit on or yoga blanket. Yoga: Gentle 14.1044 A restful, calming class including breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. Also includes yin (to work on connective tissues, joints) and restorative (to relax muscles) yoga. This is a perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga. Ever since her first aerobics class in her mid-40’s, Janice Wakimoto has grown professionally with the encouragement of a mentor and her friends. She now holds American Council on Exercise certifications as a Personal Trainer and a Group Exercise instructor.
