These projects focus on the “service learning” areas including senior citizen assistance, environment, youth, and our community as a whole. For more information call 707-838-1267 or email [email protected] Skate Park Rules Skate Park is open daily 8:30am-5:00pm (Nov.-March) 8:30am-7:00pm (March-Nov.) • Helmet, kneepads, and elbow pads required • Failure to wear helmets, kneepads, and elbow pads will subject persons to a citation and fine • No food or drink is allowed in the desig- nated skate area • No movable obstacles or materials (i.e. ramps/jumps) are allowed in the park • The use of bicycles and scooters is prohibited within the skate area • No graffiti, tagging or stickers • No smoking, alcohol, or drug use • Reckless or destructive skating is prohibited Please report graffiti or vandalism problems to the Parks & Facilities Maintenance Division at 707-838-5399. Skate Park will close due to any vandalism to the Skate Park or to the adjoining Hiram Lewis Park. 9680 Brooks Rd. So., Windsor, CA BABYSITTER’S TRAINING/ ENTRENAMIENTO DE NIŇERAS Instructor: Barbara Clough, Certified Instructor Age: 11-16 years Place: Windsor Senior Recreation Center This class teaches 11-16 year olds diapering, feed- ing, and safe play with children. Participants also learn how to recognize and respond to emergen- cies by acquiring skills for first aid and CPR for chil- dren and infants. Upon completion of skills and written test with a passing grade, participants will receive certification in CPR and first aid. *A mate- rials and certification fee of $50 is payable to the instructor at the start of the class. Students need to bring a sack lunch, snacks, and a bever- age. Students will develop fundamental dance and choreogra- phy skills. Please wear comfortable clothes and wear shoes with a strong heel. Must be enrolled in last two sessions to perform in the winter re- cital. No new students will be accepted after the second session without prior approval from the instructor. If students choose to participate in the winter recital, students are required to participate in one fundraiser if they wish to rent costumes for performances. No class on 11/27.
