Parks & Recreation Department 707-838-1260 13 ADULT SPORTS LEAGUES LIGAS DEPORTIVAS PARA ADULTOS The Town of Windsor offers adult sports leagues for the recreational benefit and positive social interaction of the participants. The ability to participate in a “sportsmanlike” manner is essential. Managers of teams wanting to register for league play will be required to attend a mandatory pre- season meeting as listed. Every team will be required to pay a $50 “sportsmanship deposit” in addition to league fees. This $50 will be returned upon completion of the season to those teams who have participated in a sportsmanlike manner. Sportsmanship guidelines, schedules, league rules and policies will be discussed at the managers’ meeting. Alcohol is prohibited in Town of Windsor parks. All meetings will be held at the Parks & Facility Maintenance office, 9291 Old Redwood Hwy, Ste. 200 B. For more information call 707-838-5980. All fees must be paid in full by the start of the managers’ meeting. No exceptions. Call 707-838-5980 prior to managers’ meeting if you plan to attend and place a team in the league. MEN’S BASKETBALL LEAGUE/ BALONCESTO PARA HOMBRES Age: 18+ years Place: Windsor High School Gym This basketball league is for men 18 years and over. Register your team early as space is limited. Sports- manship and fair play will be strongly encouraged in this fun recreational league. Mandatory Managers’ Meeting 9/17 @ 6:00p.m. 987 SUN 4:00-7:00PM 9/29-12/15 $700 team fee TENNIS/TENIS Place: Hiram Lewis Park Courts Open to players looking for a fun, recreational, intermediate game of tennis. Players compete in a “round robin” style tournament each week to better their skills and meet other local players. Beginners and intermediates welcome. This 5-on-5 league guarantees 6 games of play un- der the lights. MON 7:00-9:00PM On-going $3 Drop-in PICKLEBALL/PICKLEBOL Place: Hiram Lewis Park Tennis Courts Windsor welcomes the game of Pickleball to its mix of drop-in sports. This sport combines the elements of tennis and ping-pong. It is played with an oversize ping-pong style paddle and whiffle ball.
