To register, go to townofwindsor.com/registration 28 SENIOR DAY TRIPS EXCURCIONES DE DÍA PARA PERSONAS DE LA TERCERA EDAD BODEGA MARINE LABORATORY Bodega Marine Laboratory (BML) is a leader in multidisciplinary research aimed at solving complex environmental problems in coastal ecosystems. Upon entering BML’s West Wing, visitors experience a 24-foot-long display, containing many colorful local fishes and invertebrates, and a small kelp forest. Past that is a harbor aquarium, holding residents of our local estuary, Bodega Harbor. A tide pool mesocosm display allows visitors to experience the biodiversity and dynamic energy of the northern California coast. We will be having lunch at the amazing River’s End in Jenner overlooking the beautiful ocean. Lunch is included in the price of this trip. Transportation will be provided in the Town of Windsor 15-passenger van. THURS 8:45AM-3:00PM 11/7 $52R/$57NR TRATTORE FARMS TASTING ROOM AND TERRACE Trattore Farms is the home of Dry Creek Olive Company and Trattore Estate Wines. We will experience a wine tasting, an olive oil tasting, and then eat delicious panini sandwiches. Lunch is included in the price of this trip. Transportation will be provided in the Town of Windsor 15-passenger van. WED 10:30AM-3:30PM 9/25 TBA TRIP REFUND POLICY Unless otherwise stated, refunds for trips can be issued up to two weeks prior to trip date. Participants may either receive a refund credit to their recreation program account less a $5 processing fee per transaction or a refund check less a $15 processing fee per transaction. For cancellations less than two weeks from trip date, refunds may be given only if space on the trip is filled. DE YOUNG MUSEUM - MOVING FORWARD EXHIBIT Moving Forward, Looking Back: Prints from the Anderson Graphic Arts Collection highlights the practices of quotation and stylistic reinvigoration by someof themost daringandprominent artists held in the Museums’ Anderson Graphic Arts Collection. The exhibition presents the works of Jennifer Bartlett, Jim Dine, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, and Robert Rauschenberg, showing how these artists adapted the creative spirits of their predecessors—those of Giovanni Bellini, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, and Pablo Picasso, among others—to inform and advance their individual practices. WED 8:30AM-3:30PM 12/18 $43R/$48NR RUSSIAN BALLET THEATRE PRESENTS SWAN LAKE IN SAN RAFAEL Those faithful to the tradition of Swan Lake, must see Russian Ballet Theatre’s new pro- duction of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s timeless classic. Choreographer Nadezhda Kalinina (Mariinsky Theatre, Teatro Lirico, Omsk State Music Theatre) lovingly retouches the oldest St. Petersburg version of the ballet and adds her vision and something more that undoubt- edly will leave audiences flushed with emotion.
