As a cohort, students move through core Math, Physics and Chemistry major requirements together with support from a team of dedicated faculty and staff. Students are connected to faculty mentors and to a dedicated retention specialist and counselor. Through supportive cohort- based and contextualized learning, academic workshops, tutoring support, STEM opportunities, paid summer internships at local tech companies, and hands-on projects in the brand new state-of-the-art Fabrication Laboratory, students progress from entry-level mathematics through intermediately advanced Science, Engineering, and Technology courses. The ETS program prepares students for an Associate’s Degree, as well as transfer to a four-year university. ETS is a fall-start program that accepts students enrolling in MATH 130, 222, 225, or 251 during Fall. For more information, contact Jenny Le, STEM Counselor, at (650) 738-7048 or [email protected] .
