Mother’s Day Workshop 6-12 yrs. Parent/Child – Celebrate with your mother this year by building something together! You will get the chance to build something that will last for years to come, all while building lasting memories. Kids Carpentry is a year-round enrichment program designed to teach girls and boys, kindergarten-6th grade, the safe-use of hand tools and general woodworking skills.. Parent/Child – Art uses all the senses to improve children’s fine motor skills, enhance imaginative thinking, boost confidence and encourage happiness and creativity. In this class we open up Grandma’s recipe box and share some of the lavish and hearty Italian fare inside. We’ll show you how to make an entire family-pleasing menu of authentic dishes so wonderful that a taste will be like transporting to Grandma’s kitchen in Italy. Material Fee: $15. Kids will develop from whole cloth an original theatrical story, characters, simple costumes, props, and scenery to produce and perform a short, “rough but ready” one-act play. Young carpenters gain the skill and competence to complete increasingly more complicated projects. The kids have a wide range of projects to choose from besides designing and building their own.
