Art & Design CREATIVE ARTS Calligraphy: Old English Blackletter Beginners will learn the basics of writing with the broad- edged pen and appropriate use of inks and papers leading to understanding and use of this popular Foundational alphabet for many different projects. Class II will join four weeks later to focus on Old English Blackletter upper and lower-case letters, ending with a final project involving illuminated capital letters. Whether you are in the process of writing your memoirs or just want to get your family stories on paper before they are lost forever, this is the class for you.
