Learn shading to illustrate dimension, split stitches, long and short stitches with single strand of cotton, silk thread on silk fabric, crepe, and other fabrics. The word pysanka comes from the verb pysaty, “to write” or “to inscribe”, as the designs are not painted on, but written (inscribed) with beeswax. Materials Fee: $30.
