Polar Bears of Los Gatos Year-Round USA Swimming Team Polar Bears swim team offers a progressive age-group program designed to develop excellent swimming techniques. Polar Bears of Los Gatos (GATO) is a registered USA Swimming club and each member must be registered through USA Swimming in order to participate. Email [email protected] for more information. Pre-Team Our popular Pre-Team instructional and exercise program develops health, fitness and swimming skills for children. Instruction consists of the fundamentals of competitive swimming including stroke instruction, starts, and turns. Students will increase endurance and strength in an enjoyable and confidence-building environment. Swimmers must be able to: -Enter the water independently. -Float on their back. -Do basic freestyle partially (or fully) across a 20-yard pool. Drop In Fee: $5 Masters Swim Los Gatos Masters Swimmers of all abilities (18 Yrs. & up) who are interested in regular structured workouts are welcome to register. Previous competitive swimming experience not necessary. Triathletes are welcome and encouraged to join! There is a $70 monthly fee or you can purchase an $80 punchcard (10 swims valid for 6 months) for a more flexible Masters Swimming experience. Workouts take place M/W/F 5:45-7:00am and Saturday 7:30- 9:00am. Drop In Fee: $10. Seeing is believing! Learn how to swim faster and more efficiently. This clinic will cover Dry Land Strength Training, In-Water Stroke Analysis, and Underwater Video Analysis (Freestyle only). Each participant will be filmed from 3 angles (2 underwater & 1 above) Swimmers videos will be reviewed the same day and participants will receive their video via Youtube upon completion of the clinic.
