The Town of Windsor’s Preschool Programs are designed to meet parental expectations by offering programs for young children that provide a foundation for lifetime learning and a strong sense of community. Each of our three programs described in detail below, offer a different focus so that parents have a choice. All three programs feature a 7:1 teacher to student ratio. To keep the rates affordable, families are charged for days of operation only; no fees are charged on closures due to holidays. Programs are in session starting August 20 - May 29, 2020. Below fees are based on 9.25 months, August-May. Please note: Children under the age of 4.9 years cannot attend more than 12 hours of preschool per week. Children over the age of 4.9 years cannot attend more than 20 hours of preschool per week. CHILDREN’S CIRCLE Instructors: Suzanne Mathison and Rachel Stull Age: 2½ - 3½+ years Place: Windsor Community Center Children’s Circle provides a nurturing, learning environment in a small group setting; program size is limited to twelve children. It is an ideal class for those children who are coming to “school” for the first time. Through stories, songs, cooking, and playing, children will develop the social, motor, listening, and expressive language skills which lay a solid foundation for later academics. We encourage each child’s natural creativity, and their desire for exploration and discovery. Parents are asked to contribute a nutritional snack once a month for the entire class. In this class we can accommodate children who are partially toilet trained (pull-up pants, no diapers please). * Must be enrolled in M/W or T/TH. Can enroll in any combination up to 12 hours a week. www.townofwindsor.com/childrenscircle No class on 12/23-1/3, 1/20, 2/17, 3/16-3/20, and 5/25. 586 M/W 9:00-12:00PM Per Month $171.15R/$181.15NR 587 T/TH 9:00-12:00PM Per Month $183.38R/$193.38NR 606 F* 9:00-12:00PM Per Month $90.47R/$90.47NR KINDERCLUB Instructors: Leena Chung, Erica Brown, Amy Girimonte, Stephanie Sanchez Age: 3 - 5 years Place: Windsor Community Center Kinderclub is a play-based learning community of 3-5 year olds.
