http://adulteducation.esuhsd.org/ 8 ESL CLASS SCHEDULE AND LOCATIONS ESL DISTANCE LEARNING An alternative way of enrolling in ESL is offered through our Distance Learning Program. ESL Distance Learning is a method of studying in which much of the work is done online with weekly meetings with the teacher. The ESL Distance Learning class will include: • A 3 hour orientation for the students with the teacher • A meeting once a week after the orientation with the teacher and classmates • Corresponding between the teacher and the student over the internet using an English as Second Language software program. Requirements: • Students must test at an English language proficiency level of (Low or High Intermediate or Advanced Low.) • Student attends the 3 hour orientation • Student attends scheduled meetings with their teacher at least once a week. • Student has access to a laptop/desktop and internet to participate in the Distance Learning Class.
