Camp Millionaire In our revolutionary financial education camps, your kids will have a great time learning the value of money and the importance of a budget and how to create one. This camp will go over why it’s important to be a responsible spender and motivated saver how to invest in the stock market, real estate, the basic concepts of starting your own business and how to put together their own investment portfolio. We will go over time- tested money habits that will set them up for financial success as adults. Materials fee: $30. This fun instruction about income, debt, and investing will prevent many young adults from fumbling through life by trial and error, and having to deal with the damaging effects of poor money management skills. Pair our Money 101 Camps with an afternoon of Robotics. Young Engineers will build LEGO ® robots while exploring different themes, amazing mechanisms and wild animals. Students will learn basics of scratch programming through a drag and drop icon-based program. From boats to bird feeders, doll furniture, games, and many more, the kids have a wide range of projects to choose from. Children will learn to transform their iPad from being a tool for consumption and gaming to a “on the go” creative studio. They will learn to use popular art apps to create animation, 3D sculpting and 3D modeling, compose Music & Movies and learn to create eBooks. Students will need to bring their own iPad and download a few Apps prior to the start of camp. Discussions teach the importance of a positive attitude and who, how, and why a child can become an entrepreneur. Projects emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, team building and public speaking skills. Activities include designing menus and huge advertising signs for an Italian restaurant, learning budgeting forming a party planning business, discussing services at a pet shop and a favorite, buying and selling at our general store.
