Soak Up Some Fun while learning from one of the greatest summer programs in the Bay Area! Different from the traditional summer school, LGS Recreation’s fee-based Summer Enrichment School is open to all students entering grades K-8th. Designed and facilitated by experienced teachers from local school districts, the program provides young people the opportunity to keep strengthening their academics during the summer months through a wide range of challenging, engaging, and fun classes (non-graded)! PROGRAM DATES: June 15th – July 10th (Closed July 3rd) REGISTRATION PERIODS: ONLINE REGISTRATION: Feb. 14th at 5:00PM – June 10th at 5:00PM. ON-CAMPUS REGISTRATION: June 15th at 8:00AM in the Summer Enrichment School Office. FEES: $795 – During Feb. 14th – March 31st $835 – Starting April 1st CLASS TRANSFERS: There is a $15 transfer fee per course after registration has been submitted. From Feb. 14th – June 10th class transfers may only be processed over the phone by contacting LGS Recreation’s Main Office at 408-354-8700, space permitted. Transfers will be made available again-pending class availability, on campus in the Summer Enrichment School Office starting June 17th at 8:00AM for $25 per transfer. REFUND REQUEST: All refund requests can be made by contacting LGS Recreation’s Main Office at 408-354-8700. Refund requests for Before School Care, Summer Enrichment School and After School Day Camp must be made by June 5th at 5PM. NO refunds will be issued after this date. CANCELLATION FEES: Before School Care – $25 Summer Enrichment School – $75 After School Day Camp – $50 CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS: A Welcome Packet containing classroom assignments, program rules, emergency card and campus map will be emailed and made available online, www.lgsrecreation.org , on June 11th. Full Day Program Options BEFORE SCHOOL CARE PROGRAMS K-8TH The Summer Enrichment School bell rings at 8:20am or 8:35am depending on the location. Starting at 7:00am each location offers Before School Care for parents/guardians who wish to use this service for an additional fee of $145. AFTER SCHOOL DAY CAMP PROGRAMS K-8TH Once the school bell rings for dismissal the fun doesn’t have to stop! We offer After School Day Camp until 6:00pm to all students participating in Summer Enrichment School. Camp Programs feature: arts & crafts, healthy cooking projects, sports & games, swimming (when available), special guest visitors, and a weekly field trip! ADDITIONAL CAMP INFORMATION FEES: BEFORE SCHOOL CARE: $145 AFTER SCHOOL DAY CAMP: $639 WEEKLY CALENDAR: A weekly calendar will be emailed out to all participants the Friday before each week of camp detailing all the fun students can expect to have – including field trip information and what to bring each day. CAMP T-SHIRT: This year’s camp t-shirt must be worn by students on all off-site field trips. T-shirts will be included with your Summer Enrichment School registration. If you plan to only attend After School Day Camp, you may purchase a t-shirt on-site. LUNCH & SNACKS: A bag lunch and water bottle should be brought each day to camp unless the weekly calendar states otherwise. Daily snack will be provided.
