She’s All That Camp 9-12 yrs. Come discover with new friends the joys of writing, dancing, arts/ crafts, cooking, gardening, photography, and journal writing. This is a great chance for young women to examine their relationships, grow their confidence, and get in touch with their creativity. Bring your lunch; snacks and drinks will be provided. Skyhawks Cheerleading teaches young athletes all the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team! Our cheer coaches will ensure that each camper learns cheer, proper hand and body movements, as well as jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a ton of fun! The week concludes with sideline cheers and a choreographed performance. Come explore and discover the structure of the children’s picture book, development of characters, setting, story problems, and resolutions. You will learn pacing, pagination, layout, story boarding, and other components of creating a kid’s picture book as you write your own story. Final product will be a rough and ready draft of a children’s picture book. For those who would like to, illustrating their story will also be encouraged. Sprinkled throughout the day will be generous portions of theater, improvisation and other group games. Join us for a fun-filled week doing make-overs and fabulous dress-ups! Glam-up and glitter a T-shirt, make your own organic lip gloss, have your hair, nails, make-up, and more done. Grab your BOW and join us for this fun-filled dance party camp! Kids will learn jazz and hip hop dance moves to their favorite Jo Jo songs. Come be a pop sensation as we learn choreography, have a sing-a-long dance party, and create cool themed crafts. To add to the excitement, we also have dress-up days like pajama day and crazy dress day! Bring a friend and join the fun! Please have students bring a water bottle and snack each day. Come join us for 5 days of dance, activities, and arts & crafts related to dance, and the theme of the day! Students will be introduced to several dance styles including JAZZ, HIP HOP, CHEER LEADING, and more! Dance instructors will also help students create their own choreography! Dancers will play dance games, focus on coordination, movement, balance, and practice performing in front of each other to build self confidence.
