Video Production Live Action and Claymation Flix 7-12 yrs. LIVE ACTION FLIX – Discover your filmmaking talents! We’ll guide you through the Hollywood process to create, direct, film, act, and more. You won’t just make an incredible movie, you’ll have the skills to make your own movies with friends. Materials fee: $35 for half day and $70 for full day. CLAYMATION FLIX – Students will use green screen technology to transport their movies anywhere! Create your own clay character (that you get to keep) to star in these flix where you’ll film, direct, and voice-over in small groups. Materials fee: $35. Join us for this unique behind-the-scenes look at a TV creation! Students learn the fundamentals of video production and broadcasting. Skills include storytelling, camera composition, audio, live switching, floor directing, and hosting for television. Final project will be a show that airs on KMVT. Dive into the world of marine science, technology, and operations with the Seafloor Science and Remotely Operated Vehicle (SS ROV). Students learn the scientific method for ecosystems and seafloor geology plus technologies for deep- sea exploration. Interactive activities incorporate rovers, underwater ROVs, sensors, plankton, sonars, scientific drilling, geology, and more.
