Through hands on interaction participants will learn about horses and ponies, expand vocabulary, improve social skills and reinforce the importance of caring, patience and taking turns. Class includes pony ride with parent in tow. Parent participation is required. SADDLE CLUB: A basic learning and riding class, students will learn how to groom, saddle, tie, and other basic horse skills in the first portion of class. The remainder will be riding time. HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS: Join us for western riding lessons. Students will learn safety, dismounting, steering, stopping, balance, posting trot and sitting trot. Theses lessons are perfect for beginner to intermediate riders. Each student progresses at their own level. TRAIL RIDES: Join us for a trail ride through the beautiful trails of Wunderlich park in Woodside. You adventure will wind through redwoods forests and tree covered hills. Instructor: Ella Chekhanovskaya OPEN GYM – TODDLER & PRE-K: This is a non-instructional play activity for children walking through Pre-K. Your children will work out those wiggles, bounce and balance, and jump for joy as they freely play and explore our gymnastics room. Enjoy a morning of fun. Parents/Guardians are required to stay and participate with their children. Drop in: $7. WIGGLE WORMS: Become a wiggle worm and you’ll develop skills in coordination, motor development, eye/hand coordination, sports skills and self-esteem. We’ll use ribbons, hula-hoops, balls, beanbags and parachute to keep our worms wiggling! GYM KIDS: We will develop skills in coordination, motor development, eye/hand coordination and gymnastics. We’ll learn skills utilizing the floor mats, vault, beam, bars and mini- trampoline. Fun routines and dances will be taught with ribbons, hula hoops, balls and parachute. GYM STARS: This class is for the students who are continuing from Gym Kids and/or just beginning in gymnastics. Emphasis will be on proper form and learning skills from floor, vault, beam, bars and mini-trampoline. Be a star and shine while you learn gymnastics. GYMNASTICS – BEGINNING I & II: We will progress with more difficult gymnastic skills and refine those already learned. The floor, vault, beam, bars and mini-trampoline will be used in this class.
