This class emphasizes understanding and building skill in the four basic swings of golf: putting, chipping, sand shots, & full swing. Teams of two-partners required, price is per person. You play 9 holes, alternating weekly between the front and back 9. After your round, enjoy discounted food and drinks at the DC Tap House. 8 week regular season and 2 week playoffs with prizes and trophies for the winners. Tee-off between 5:00pm – 5:30pm on the designated side for the week! This is a really fun class for new golfers, as well as for those who want to improve their skills. Meet new friends as you play. Rules and etiquette are also covered. Fri. 4:00PM – 5:30PM 4 mtgs. 6/5 – 6/26 $160 Fri. 4:00PM – 5:30PM 3 mtgs. 7/10 – 7/24 $120 GREG MEYER’S NATURE ACTIVITIES SIERRA KAYAK CAMPOUT: The lakes of the Sierra Nevada are a perfect kayaking camping destination for this relaxed weekend. There will be an informational meeting on June 2nd. We will meet early Saturday morning and paddle to the back of the lake to set up camp. The rest of the day will be spent hiking, paddling or just lazing before our BBQ dinner and campfire. You’ll enjoy this relaxed, outdoor adventure in the beauty of the high sierra! NEW KAYAK TO THE EAST BROTHERS LIGHTHOUSE: Join us for a kayak adventure to a historic lighthouse on San Pablo Bay. We will paddle out the Carquinez Strait to the East Brothers Island and, if the winds are willing, we will circumnavigate the islands. Then we will pull ashore on Point San Pablo for a lunch stop before returning to our cars. FULL MOON KAYAK TO ELKHORN SLOUGH: Elkhorn Slough is one of California’s largest remaining coastal wetlands. We will spend an evening exploring the quiet waterways of the seven mile long slough, getting a unique look at the wildlife and flora of this preserve. As we paddle home at sunset, we will watch the moon rise over the hills of lovely Prunedale. Single or Double Kayaks are available. Whether you are in the process of writing your memoirs or just want to get your family stories on paper before they are lost forever, this is the class for you.
