Find a quiet space where you can study with limited distractions. Create a Weekly Study Schedule and Stick to it. • Think Realistically about the amount of Time you will need to spend in an online class. It is a myth that online classes are easier than those taught in person. • Log into your class early in the week. Materials, assignments and expectations can change quickly in an online class. You'll want to keep current with the deadlines. • Try not to fall behind. It's very easy to procrastinate when you don't have to physically go to a classroom or turn in your work in person. Join a Study Group, Create a To Do List. Breaking Down larger projects into smaller pieces will help you complete your assignments • Actively Participate and Ask for Help! Get to know your classmates and your instructor. Take advantage of course resources and those resources provided by the College such as the Library, Tutoring and Counseling.
