NEW Seal Team SCUBA Camp 8-12 yrs. The PADI Seal Team Camp is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool, taking part in exciting SCUBA “Aqua Missions”. These Aqua Missions will introduce your child to the basics of SCUBA diving and the thrill of breathing underwater. “Aqua Missions” 1-5, will teach the basics of scuba diving: buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery, etc. with plenty of underwater playtime built in. Using age appropriate educational material, this week long camp combines fun topside activities with pool sessions. After building a solid foundation of SCUBA skills, participants will be ready to participate in the next step: Master Seal Team Camp. $100 rental fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp. The Junior Lifeguard program provides young swimmers lifesaving training, leadership skills, and water rescue experience. By the end of this course, participants will have first aid/CPR/AED knowledge and will be able to quickly respond to emergencies in aquatic environments. Participants must be strong swimmers. Location: LGHS Community Aquatics Center M-F 9:00AM - 12:00PM 5 mtgs. 7/26-7/30 $175 AQUATICS CAMPS Camp LGS Aquatics 7-10 yrs. Camp LGS Aquatics is the perfect multi-sport camp for 7-10 year olds. Campers will receive instruction on 3 sports: swimming, water polo, and log rolling. While learning something new, log rollers will improve balance, footwork and core strength. Stepping back and forth atop a spinning Key Log greatly improves cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Please arrive in your swimsuit and don’t forget to wear a mask; LGS Aquatics swim cap is included. This week long camp will help you become a better triathlete as you participate in one of the fastest growing sports in the nation. Coached by Pete and Shari Kain and Kain Performance Multi-Sport, campers are lead through a week long “Triathlon Adventure”!
