Get ready for a Summer of Fun while learning and playing from one of the best NEW summer programs in the Bay Area! Different from the traditional summer school. LGS Recreation’s fee-based Summer Fun Academy is open to all student’s 1st- 8th grade. The program provides students the opportunity to strengthen their academics and to get outside and play during the summer months through a wide range of challenging, engaging, and fun programs! PROGRAM DATES: Session 1 - June 14 - July 2 Session 2 - July 6 - July 23 FEES: Session 1 - $900 - Early online registration $945 - Starting May 17th Session 2 - $840 - Early online registration $882 - Starting June 14th CAMP TRACKS: Tracks have been designed to provide a variety of experiences for all students. Individual class periods are not interchangeable and registration is for the full 4-part track. This protects student cohorts and for the safety of all children, class periods may not be prorated or exchanged. CLASS TRANSFERS: There is a $15 transfer fee per track after registration has been submitted. REFUND REQUEST: Refund requests for Summer Fun Academy and Summer Fun Academy Afternoon Camp must be made by May 17th at 5:00 p.m. for Session 1 and June 14th for Session 2. No refunds will be issued following the above dates. CANCELLATION FEES: Summer Fun Academy – $75 Summer Fun Academy Afternoon Camp – $50 Class Schedules Grades 1-8 Class 1 - 8:50AM-9:35AM Class 2 - 9:50AM–10:35AM Class 3 - 10:50AM–11:35AM Class 4 - 11:50AM–12:35PM Summer Fun Academy Grades 1-8 Afternoon Camp Once the school bell rings for dismissal the fun doesn’t have to stop! We offer Afternoon Camp until 3:00pm to all students participating in Summer Fun Academy. Camp Programs feature: arts & crafts, healthy cooking projects, sports & games. FEES: Session 1 - $450 Session 2 - $407 ADDITIONAL CAMP INFORMATION WELCOME PACKET: A Welcome Packet containing classroom assignments, program rules, detailed drop-off information and a campus map will be emailed and made available online at www.lgsrecreation.org on June 1st. LUNCH & SNACKS: A snack and water bottle should be brought each day to camp. Students attending Afternoon Camp should bring a bag lunch as well.
