www.scparks.com • 11 Sports Camps Disc Golf Skill Camp NEW Explore Pinto Lake County Park and learn about Disc Golf, one of the fastest growing sports in the country. It is played much like ball golf, except instead of hitting a ball with a club into a hole, a specially designed disc like a frisbee is thrown into a hanging basket. Participants will be provided their own personal discs, generously provided by DGA (Disc Golf Association). Instructor: Carrie “Burl” Berlogar is a Recreation Specialist for County Parks and a Disc Golf Champion, boasting 5 US Women’s Master Champion titles and 2 World Champion titles. We have adapted our fantastic curriculum to work alongside the most up to date county guidelines. Fusal is fun, fast-paced and played outdoors on an area the size of a basketball court using a small, size 3, low-bounce ball. Players of all levels follow our innovative age-specific curriculum to improve individual technical ability. Passing, dribbling, shooting, and learning new skills will be the focus of the sessions. Video will be used as a tool to help campers improve their skills. All campers will receive individualized instruction daily.
