Occupancy restrictions have been developed for classrooms that support 6 ft distancing. a. The distancing guidance is subject to change pending review by state and county health agencies and may be reduced to no less than 4 ft or 3 ft. 2. Staff/ Faculty Shared Workspaces . Shared workspaces are configured to promote 6 ft distances with plastic barriers installed at areas where numerous interactions are anticipated (i.e. library research desk, financial aid, etc.). 3. Distancing Markings/Notifications . Areas and operations where high-volume interactions are anticipated have been modified with distance markers, path of travel markers and stanchions to direct the flow of traffic and support physical distancing. 1. Masks. Face coverings are required at all times unless: a) you are alone in your enclosed personal workspace and no other persons are anticipated to come within 6 ft or b) you are outdoors and 6 ft away from anyone else. a. At this time, the CDC face-covering exemptions for vaccinated individuals do not supersede the CLPCCD COVID-19 Safety Plan requirements for face-coverings. 1. Employees, students, and vendors are not permitted to enter the campus if: a. they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms and are to leave the area if they develop symptoms while on campus or b. they have been in close contact with or otherwise exposed to a known or suspected case of COVID-19 and should not come to campus until they have been cleared to do so by a medical professional following current guidance from the CDC. 2. At Risk Persons . Individuals are to self-identify if they are at higher risk of serious complications from COVID-19 in order to determine how workplace or classroom accommodations can be made. 1. Hand Hygiene . All individuals are encouraged to use hand sanitizer before entering a communal space and using communal items. Hand sanitizer is provided throughout campus. a. CDC recommends handwashing with soap and water for 20 seconds and not touching your face as additional precautions. 1. Disinfection . High-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected daily by CLPCCD custodial services. If an area is determined to have been impacted by a confirmed case, that area may be subject to additional cleaning and disinfection, as directed by the Case Response team. Note: These practices are current as of the revision date. Since the COVID-19 pandemic is evolving rapidly, extra diligence should be used in watching for updates to these practices.
