IET courses will contextualize literacy, workforce training, and workforce preparation skills simultaneously. Intro to Microsoft Office Essentials Skills (MOE) - Word English Language Learners students will co-enroll in ESL & CTE programs: Intro to Microsoft Office Essentials Skills (MOE) - Word will contextualize literacy, workforce training, and workforce preparation skills simultaneously. The course is designed to meet English language proficiency needs and how to use Word features to create business documents and resumes, create promotional brochures and reports. Accounting and Bookkeeping - IET (New offering) English Language Learners will co- enroll in ESL & CTE programs.The course will contextualize literacy, workforce training, and workforce preparation skills simultaneously. English Language Learners will learn the basic accounting equation, debit and credit & financial statements. Students will develop general knowledge of payroll processing and accounting. The class will create an opportunity andpathways for students to move into CTE Accounting 1A. Intro to the Language of Early Childhhood Education - Dual Enrollment (ESL & Mission College) Students will learn English/ESL for Child Care Childhood Development Health, Nutrition & Safety & much more….. • Understand social, emotional, physical and cognitive development from prenatal stages through middle childhood • Promote oral language abilities through active use of books, poetry, dramatic play and group discussion • Decode healthcare policies and procedures in the child-care setting and • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
