http://adulteducation.esuhsd.org/ 3 Class Location & Information HOW TO REGISTER Students interested in attending classes at East Side Adult Education Program must register to take a placement test. Classes are open to all adults 18 years old and over. HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION, AND GED Students interested in enrolling in one of the above programs must call and/ or come to our office in person to make a placement test appointment. After students have taken the placement test, they need to make a counseling appointment. Based on their placement test assessments, students will be assigned to class(es). Students who are currently enrolled in one of our district high schools may register for classes to recover credit to satisfy high school diploma requirements . High school students must meet with their counselor and obtain permission from their parents/guardians prior to being accepted at adult school. ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)/CITIZENSHIP Please visit the adult school you wish to attend. You will take a placement test at the time of your registration. This inital placement will determine your language development level. Students who pass the inital placement test, will register to take an additional English language assessment. Our ESL program operates on an open enrollment basis, students may enroll throughout the semester.
