Student semester parking permits are only available online through CLASS-Web a Ō er registering for classes. Youmust have a valid semester parking permit displayed on your vehicle to park on campus. Permits shall be hung from the rearview mirror or displayed on the vehicle dashboard. If you do not have a valid semester permit, daily permits are available for $3 from dispensers located in all student parking lots. Enforcement of parking rules and regula Ɵ ons shall begin the third week of instruc Ɵ on of each semester and Ɵ ckets will be issued for violators. 1. GATHER REQUIRED INFORMATION Have the following informa Ɵ on with you before ordering your permit: • Student ID Number (W number) • Vehicle license plate and state of vehicle registra Ɵ on • Year, make, model, and color of vehicle 2. ORDERING AND PURCHASING YOUR PERMIT Follow these steps to order and purchase your parking permit: 1. Log into CLASS-Web. 2. Click the Order a Parking Permit link. 3. Select type of permit. 4. PRINT YOUR TEMPORARY PERMIT To receive your parking permit, you must fi rst print your temporary parking permit. Once you have printed your temporary permit, you will receive your permanent permit in the mail in approximately 10 business days. Follow these steps to print your temporary permit: 1. Log into CLASS-Web. 2. Click the Order or Ac Ɵ vate a Parking Permit link. 3. Click the Print Temporary Permit link. This is not a loan program. There are no interest or fi nance charges assessed and there is no credit check. The cost to budget your interest-free monthly payment plan is a $20 per semester nonrefundable NELNET Subscriber’s Fee. DISABLED PARKING The California Educa Ɵ on Code, Sec Ɵ on 67301, allows for Community Colleges to charge parking fees for use of the parking lot and speci fi cally provides that student with disabili Ɵ es and persons providing transporta Ɵ on to students with disabili Ɵ es shall be required to display a valid parking permit if applicable, for the campus a Ʃ ended. In accordance with state law, the Chabot- Las Positas Board of Trustees has established a policy, which requires disabled students to purchase and display a valid parking permit when parking in any campus parking lot. Students with disabili Ɵ es or persons providing transporta Ɵ on to students with disabili Ɵ es are allowed to park in any available space in Student and Faculty/Sta ff parking lots unless otherwise prohibited, provided they display a valid disabled placard (or plate) as well as a valid parking permit, as de fi ned in CLPCCD Board Policy 2314.
