EHR Specialists perform some or all of the following tasks: audit patient records and clinical information for inclusion into reports, perform basic coding to submit claims for insurance reimbursement, process release of information requests for medical records, collect and review patient records, and insurance information. This course prepares students for jobs as Electronic Health Records Specialists and helps them develop skills required for their medical profession. The software for this course is very detailed and thorough. Course A is chapters 1-6 and Course B is chapters 7-13 ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS APPLICATIONS A & B Electronic Medical Records A & B are the companion courses to Electronic Health Records A & B, where the concepts of each chapter are applied in simulated real situations to broaden their understanding. This course prepares students for jobs as Electronic Health Records Specialists and helps them develop skills required for their medical profession. The software for this course is very detailed and thorough. Course A is chapters 1-6 Applications and Course B is chapters 7-13 Applications.
