I am excited that you have decided to join us for the spring 2023 semester, to pursue your educational goals and career aspirations. Las Positas students are a diverse group. Our students range in age from younger than 19 to older than 50. Some students attend LPC to earn a two-year Associate Degree, while others plan to transfer to a four-year university. We also serve older adults looking to change careers, and adults who want to finish earning a college degree that they began years earlier. As you will discover, LPC is committed to academic excellence, student success, and student completion. Our caring and dedicated faculty, staff, and administrators are committed to supporting you throughout your college experience. We have outstanding student support services, academic resources, and excellent opportunities for you to be involved in campus life, events, and activities. I am confident that you will find that Las Positas College is a fun place to be. You will have the opportunity to meet new people, while you prepare to transfer to a four-year college or university or to enter the workforce in your chosen career.
