Steps to Audit a Course 1. Apply for Admission • Apply online at: www.chabotcollege.edu • Check the email provided on your application 48-72 hours after applying, to receive your Student ID Number (W#) from [email protected] 2. Fees • A mandatory Student Health fee of $21.00 for Fall and Spring, $18 for Summer session will be assessed for all students each semester or session. The fee us used to support health services for enrolled students. • $1.00 per course audit fee 3. Important Information About Auditing Courses • Auditing fees are non-refundable except in the case where an audit is dropped from a course in order to make way for a regularly enrolled student. • Enrollment priority shall be given to students enrolling in the course for credit toward a degree or certificate. • Changing enrollment of course(s)from audit to college credit is not permitted. • No credit will be received for audited courses. Audited courses will not appear on a student’s official transcript. • Audited courses are not eligible for credit by exam, financial aid, veteran’s benefits, full-time student status. Chabot College is authorized under Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. The International Student Program supports International students from admission through graduation to ensure that their experience at Chabot College and in the U.S.A. is enjoyable and successful. Chabot College offers academic and counseling services and priority registration to International students. International students (F-1 and M-1 Visa) seeking admission to Chabot College must submit a completed International Student Application and other required supplemental application documents including a non-refundable $100 application fee, academic transcripts or certificates, proof of English language proficiency, evidence of financial support, and health examinations. The International Student Application packet with information on the specific language proficiency requirements and alternative forms of English language proficiency accepted and amount of adequate financial support may be found on the International Student Program website at: www.chabotcollege.edu/international. The completed application may be then mailed, faxed, or scanned to the International Student Program Office. To be considered for admission, students must submit all required materials by the deadline posted on the International Student Program website. Due to the visa application process at U.S. Embassies and Consulates, overseas applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible. Students currently studying on an F-1 or M-1 visa at another school in the United States may apply to transfer to Chabot College.
