BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE Chabot has invested in various infrastructure projects to deliver high quality learning environments. The Biological Science Building boasts five new instructional laboratories and spaces for students and faculty. Chabot also opened a new campus dedicated to fire, rescue and emergency response training. This innovative education center opened in 2023 in partnership with the City of Hayward with the goal of offering vital training opportunities for first responders across the region. Coming in fall 2024, Chabot will be opening the new Library and Learning Connection Building in the heart of the campus. This building – featured on the cover with students – blends academic resources, study and social spaces, including indoor and outdoor areas to support and encourage an active student lifestyle. The footprint of our college is changing, but our pursuit of fostering a campus community that will prepare a new generation of entrepreneurs, artists, scientists, educators, and more remains the same.
