6 • Parks, Open Space & Cultural Services AQUATICS PROGRAMS Junior Guards Spring Clinic This clinic is to designed to help prepare children specifically for the junior guard swim test, and improve their swimming skills for summer. Each clinic will consist of one hour of swimming each week for three weeks; and will include working on skills such as freestyle, treading water, stroke development and comfortability in the water. Requirements - children must already know how to swim. This is not a swimming lesson; this will be a clinic to help children improve their swimming skills and prepare for the Junior Guard swim test requirement.
