Summer 2019 Recreation Guide 28 Assistance in adhering to the following policies will be greatly appreciated: • The facility closes promptly 15minutes after the conclusion of each open swim. Please plan your swim and shower time accordingly. • All participants must sign-in each time they use the facility. • With the exception of residents of the Brooks Creek development and their guests, all participants must pay the daily use fee each time they use the facility. • Per Town ordinance, no animals are allowed in Town facilities, including the pool deck. • Please inform Senior Center staff in the event of any irregular activity in the pool, on deck, or in locker rooms. • No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises. Failure to comply with any Senior Recreation Center policies may result in loss of privileges. Note: Open Swim hours and Water Fitness classes are dependent upon lifeguard availability. GENTLE WATER EXERCISE EJERCICIOS ACUÁTICOS SUAVES Instructor: Rene Bosen Class begins on Monday, 6/3/19 If you have chronic back or joint problems or are recovering from an injury or surgery, you will benefit from this gentle exercise program. Our knowledgeable and experienced instructor will lead you through exercises which are especially designed for increasing flexibility and balance, rebuilding strength, and assisting with the relief of arthritis symptoms. Please inform instructor of your specific fitness-related needs. No class on 9/2. Using the resistance of the water adds an extra “punch” to your workout. No class on 5/27, 7/4 and 9/2. M-F 3:00-4:00PM On-going $6R/$7NR DROP-IN RECREATIONAL OPEN LAP SWIM/ NATACIÓN ABIERTA RECREATIVA The 2019 Pool Season Wednesday, May 1 - Thursday, October 31 Facility will be closed on 5/27, 7/4 and 9/2 Recreational open lap swim is an opportunity to enjoy the pool and jacuzzi however you like best. You may swim laps, walk, use the exercise equipment, relax on a pool noodle or just float and socialize. Open Swim Hours Monday through Friday: 11:00am - 2:00pm and 4:00pm- 6:00pm *4:00pm - 7:00pm (May 20 - Aug 16) *Fridays 4:00PM - 6:00PM Saturday & Sunday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm *Note that from May 20 - August 14, evening open swim hours extend, Monday through Thursday until 7:00pm. This additional hour from 6:00-7:00pm. is shared with the Town of Windsor Youth Swim Lessons Program. During this hour, lap swimming is limited. Due to the pool closure for 5/27 and 7/4 holiday, youth swim lessons will also take place on Friday 5/31 and 7/5.
