27 Senior Stretching Improve your flexibility, relax, and get in the habit of stretching on a daily basis. Learn the proper way to stretch through a carefully coordinated routine of sim- ple stretches, both seated and standing. Participants must either be registered Mall Walkers, or must sign a registration form and pay a drop-in fee of $5/visit. Capitola Mall - Age 50+ M/W/F 8:30-9:10 AM $5.00/visit - free to Mall Walkers Capitola Mall Walking Join the Mall Walkers for health, fitness, and fun. Meet friendly, supportive people and walk in a safe, protected environ- ment. The Mall Walk Desk is staffed by volunteers who record daily distances, answer ques- tions and introduce you to other walkers. Drop by the desk at the entrance to the food court. Monthly events include blood pressure checks, birth- day celebrations and social luncheons at local restau- rants (individuals purchase their own lunch). Members who have reached certain mileage cate- gories are honored with certificates and mileage pins at the annual awards ceremony, which includes a raf- fle for prizes donated by local merchants. The bus will drop us off in the heart of Union Square, where you will be able to choose from a variety of stores and restaurants. If you like, you may choose to stay in one location and enjoy shopping at the Westfield San Francisco Centre. The Centre is home to the second largest Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s in the country as well as over 170 specialty stores and exclusive boutiques for an awe-inspiring blend of commerce, couture, cuisine and culture. New this year - We have added a drop-off and pick-up location at Pier 39 for those interested. The fun only begins there! After a day of shopping, a tour guide will meet us, board our bus, and narrate as we tour the city. As darkness falls, we’ll be treated to views of holiday lights in San Francisco and even have the opportunity to disembark and have a closer look at some of the city’s best displays!
