Participants also learn how to recognize and respond to emergencies by acquiring skills for first aid and CPR for children and infants. Upon completion of skills and written test with a passing grade, participants will receive certification in CPR and first aid. *A materials and certification fee of $50 payable to the instructor at the start of the class. So., Windsor, CA APPS AND ROBOTS Instructor: Alim Charaniya Age: 11-17 years Place: Bluebird Center Instructor, Alim Charaniya, is a Windsor High School graduate, class of 2015, and a recent graduate from San Jose State University with a major in Business Administration, MIS, and a minor in Computer Science. Alim was part of the first STEM core class at Windsor High, where he fell in love with engineering and solving life problems with using technology. Since graduating college, Alim co-founded Season Share, an app for Sports fans to share season tickets. The company is backed by industry leaders such as Ticketmaster and the San Francisco 49ers. In his free time, Alim enjoys playing basketball, attending events, traveling and reading books. In this 1-day introductory boot camp course, students will focus on learning innovative problem solving skills to and further their understanding of technology. Students will learn app design and robotics using popular programming languages. No coding experience required. Students will program their own robots and mobile apps and showcase their creations at the end of the course.
