Ikebana arrangers strive for exquisite harmony between the flowers, the container, and the environment in which the arrangement is displayed. This philosophy nurtures each artisan’s aesthetic sense while providing the artist with extensive Ikebana instruction. There are infinite ways flowers fill us with hope and beauty! She discovered her passion for Ikebana in 1993 with Wafu Ikebana Society. She currently holds a Gakukan degree in Ikebana and is a board member of Wafu Ikebana Society and Ikebana Teachers Federation. Inspired by nature, Mayshine believes that its beauty is represented well in the art of Ikebana. She enjoys teaching and watching her students learn and grow through their appreciation of nature’s beauty.
