In addition to direct instruction, students participate in activities and challenges with horses to support them in increasing their self-awareness and using the taught strategies in a hands-on manner. By including horses in this program, we strive to create an experiential and non-threatening learning environment that brings students into the present moment and encourages self-discovery - while having fun!
