Learn how to change common dog behaviors; such as bark- ing, jumping and pulling, and teach your dog obedience skills that will transform them into a more obedient and enjoyable companion. Class environment is fun and supportive, and uses dog friendly training techniques. Proper training equipment may need to be purchased. This class is for dogs 5 months and older and is not appropriate for dogs that are aggressive to people or other dogs. First class is WITHOUT DOGS. We’ll improve all our be- ginning skills; sit, down, stay, come and walking with a loose leash. We will even learn a trick or two! Who will benefit from a continuing obedi- ence class? People who wish to go onto a dog sport; such as agility, people who wish to have their dog certified as a therapy dog, and anyone who just wants a better trained, better behaved companion. As always, class is fun and support- ive and uses all dog friendly training techniques. Prerequisite: completion of a beginning obe- dience class. Dogs attend every class.
