To get started, log-on to your Class-Web account. Under the Student Services tab select: “English Course Selection” and “Math Course Selection.” See below or get assistance in the assessment center: www.chabotcollege.edu/counseling/assessment 1. Log into CLASS-Web 2. Go to the Student Services tab 3. Unlock first-level transfer courses in English and Math. After completing the Math Course Selection, if you wish to enroll in pre-transfer level math courses, you must first complete the Pre-Transfer Math Courses Petition located right below the Math Course Selection. ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES If you are an English learner and would like to enroll into our English as a Second Language (ESL) Program, please schedule your ESL assessment appointment at: www.chabotcollege.edu/counseling/assessment/placement-esl-students.php FIRST SEMESTER PLANNING SESSIONS www.chabotcollege.edu/counseling/fsps All new, first time in college students should attend a First Semester Planning Session (FSPS). First Semester Planning Sessions are group counseling sessions where you will meet with a counselor to select classes for your first semester. These sessions are currently being held virtually over Zoom AND in-person. See “Tips for Scheduling your First Semester Planning Session” below. Learning Community students: If you are joining a Learning Community (Movement, Umoja, Puente, or Change It Now!), please reach out directly to your Learning Community counselor to complete this step (do not attend a First Semester Planning Session). www.chabotcollege.edu/specialprograms Attended college before? If you have taken classes at another college, or are a continuing/returning Chabot student do not attend a first semester planning session. Instead, contact the General Counseling department in person or phone: www.chabotcollege.edu/counseling/index.php#contact Tips for Scheduling your First Semester Planning Session When scheduling your session to get your first semester education plan, you will have the option to select a general session for all majors, or select a pathway specific session (if offered for your specific pathway). When possible, please select the pathway session that corresponds with your major. If you are a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics, including Computer Science) student, please attend a STEM session.
